Everyone's leaving!

There are so many people quitting blogging! What the hell is up?!

Not that I'm one to talk with my sporadic, boring updates...

We've been having crazy times here in the semi-inaka!

*The school, after being not busy at all and actually making me rethink whether never seeing my kids was worth having it, has been crazy busy.

*My mum is visiting, which has been mainly good but with me being busy and her just babysitting for me I feel kind of bad. Plus Ryota and my mum don't really get along, well they do, but only to keep the peace, if it came down to it they actually really don't like each other at all I suspect. They both piss me off in different ways at times but they're both my family who I love and I'm happy they keep it civil for my sake.

*Little bro, who is still in Australia, exactly one year after his brain bleed last year, had a major stroke and is still in ICU. With no insurance. Costing $4500 a night... It's pretty fucked up and he's paralysed on his left side but we're hoping he makes a recovery, we still don't know much.

*I've been using every spare moment I have to exercise, I have very little free time these days and since it's my 30th in less than 6 months I cannot be a whale for those fucking photos. Craving carbs and sweets but I did it before, I WILL do it again.

  1. That's awful about the BIL. I hope he recovers - and that's a shitload of money to be paying out.

    1. Yeah it's a worry, he's so young and it means it wasn't a one off thing last year :(

  3. I'm sorry to hear about BIL. I hope things improve for him. Is anyone over there with him?
Ah, the exercise! I do that bit quite well, and then I think I've earned a cake or two, after all the calorie burning and that. I'd better get a move on, my summer clothes don't fit me anymore and I'm too cheap to buy new ones.
I haven't been blogging much either, too busy watching the West Wing and other boring shit.

    1. Thanks, I'm hoping with rehabilitation he will get the use of his left side back.
Yeah eating is a BIG problem for me too, I'm trying so hard to cut out snacking but it's difficult, I'm chewing a lot of gum!

  4. It's your fault. Ever since you slowed down those of us lucky enough to be caught up in your orbit have seen our traffic halve. Hits shouldn't equal motivation, but they kinda do ;)

Hope the situation with your brother improves. And look at it like this, if your husband and mother are willing to tolerate their mutual loathing for your sake, it must mean the genuinely care about you. Small mercies.

    1. Haha, I'm sure it's nothing to do with me, blogging in general seems to be slowing, we need a revival!

Yeah, the mutual loathing/toleration thing is just for me so I guess I should be grateful!

  5. I was going to suggest a torrid fling to liven things up then read about little bro. I have to be happy I am not him and appreciate my ability to get up and out and the fuck away from everything if I choose. I hope it gets better for him.

The fling thing is dangerous with strangers but we kinda know each other enough to not being doing something totally crazy but really don't know each other so it would be totally taboo crazy naughty.

They will lock you in the fucking Kitchen after you turn 30 Corrine...I'm serious!! Live life now!!!

The calm before the storm....they are shopping for the shackles as we speak...maybe....don't chance it!!! ;)

  6. Sounds horrible with your little brother! Hope he recovers and that the financial side can get solved!

I am impressed thought that you have time to exercise at all, with two kids and a more than full time job, that is a very impressive feat!

    1. Thank you, I think the financial side will get solved somehow but just as long as he hangs in there we'll be happy.

I don't have exercise time but I figure if I can walk up a hill with a stroller inbetween lessons it's got to be better than sitting on my bum at home!

  7. Dropping like flies. And so many people are simply disappearing.

The blog conundrum. Mine's gotta have it's plug pulled after a few more sessions. Parts of it have already begun to disintegrate on their own.

Despite the morbid talk, I do plan on having online presence that actually integrates into the real world, linking to people I have met in the flesh. There will also be room for discussion with folks who I've only 'known' through this medium. But whatever...

Your brother-in-law, dayum! Gotta live while you can.

As long as you keep your blog up, I'll continue to stop by.

    And congratulations on staying busy.

    1. Yup, everyone is totally disappearing! But if you're done you're done I guess!

      So true, live for today!

Thanks for sticking with me! :)
